The iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will be available in China starting next month. The Vivo sub-brand has verified the debut of the new iQoo smartphones in China on Wednesday (October 25) via Weibo. Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will power the gaming-focused iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro. The iQoo 12 will be the first smartphone in India to have Qualcomm's new-generation SoC. The iQoo 12 series is rumored to operate on the Android 14 operating system and will have screens with a refresh rate of 144Hz. They are expected to include three back cameras.
The iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will be available on November 7. According to a teaser poster provided (in Chinese) by the firm on Weibo, the launch ceremony will take place in China at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST). The iQoo 12 series will utilize Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It would be the first phone to have the new SoC. This week's Snapdragon Summit saw the introduction of the company's flagship mobile processor.

Meanwhile, iQoo India CEO Nipun Marya hinted the iQoo 12 5G's coming in the nation via an X post. He revealed that it will be India's first phone to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
The iQoo 12 range will most likely have a dedicated display processor with hardware-accelerated ray tracing for greater gaming visuals. PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State, Genshin Impact, and LoL Mobile are anticipated to operate at 144 frames per second on the next devices.
According to previous rumors, the iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro would have up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. They might launch with Android 14 and have 2K Samsung E7 AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The iQoo 12 series is expected to have three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto sensor with 3x zoom and OIS support.
The standard iQoo 12 is rumored to include a 4,880mAh dual-cell battery with 120W fast charging capabilities. In comparison, the iQoo 12 Pro might have a bigger 4,980mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging capability.
