Nokia Teases the Release of a New 5G Smartphone in India: Details

Nokia is preparing to expand its 5G smartphone portfolio with an unknown smartphone. On September 2, the business posted a teaser video announcing the debut of a new Nokia 5G phone in India via X (previously known as Twitter). The forthcoming smartphone is expected to launch in the mid-range market. However, the corporation has yet to divulge the smartphone's name or any other data. In the United States, Nokia just announced the Nokia G310 5G with the Nokia C210.


Nokia India has released a teaser video heralding the arrival of a new 5G smartphone in the country. The unknown handset will be unveiled on September 6. While little information about the next smartphone is known, the teaser video shows the phone's curved corners. The corporation has yet to release any other information. There have also been no leaks or rumors concerning the device.



Nokia debuted the Nokia G310 5G and Nokia C210 in the United States last month. The former comes pre-loaded with Android 13 and powered by a Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC with 4GB of RAM. The Nokia G310 5G has a 6.56-inch HD+ (720 x 1,612 pixel) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz.


It has a triple back camera arrangement, with the main sensor being a 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus. It comes with two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. The phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 20W rapid charging. The device is dust and splash resistant, with an IP52 rating.


Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/AGPS, USB OTG, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity choices. The Nokia G310 5G also includes the company's "QuickFix" technology for simple self-repairs.
