Google Pixel 8 Series Renders Leaked Again; Three Color Options Suggested

The Google Pixel 8 series, which includes the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, will be unveiled on October 4 during the 'Made by Google' event. The tech titan has released brief teases of upcoming gadgets, providing a glimpse into their design characteristics. Previous leaks and speculations have hinted at some of the major specs of the impending Pixel series smartphones. Recently, fresh images providing a look into the handsets' prospective design and color possibilities have emerged online. They propose three color schemes for the handsets. At first look, readers will notice no difference in the general appearance of last year's Pixel 7 series.

MySmartPrice has obtained renders of the future Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. According to the rumor, the vanilla Pixel 8 will be available in grey, obsidian black, and peony rose colors. The Pixel 8 Pro, on the other hand, will supposedly be available in black obsidian, porcelain, and sky Blue color choices.

The renderings depict the Pixel 8 series' back design, which includes a visor-style camera array. The Pixel 8 is spotted with dual rear cameras, while the Pixel 8 Pro is pictured with a triple camera configuration organized in a horizontal camera island. The camera bar also houses a microphone and an LED flash. They resemble the design of their predecessors, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The former comes in Lemongrass, Obsidian, and Snow colorways, while the Pro comes in Obsidian, Snow, and Hazel.

Google's autumn Pixel launch event begins on October 4 at 10:00 a.m. local time (7:30 p.m. IST) in New York. Aside from the Pixel 8 series, the Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Buds Pro will make their debuts during the Made by Google event. The handsets will be available for pre-order on Flipkart in India beginning October 5.

Android 14 and 120Hz refresh rate screens are likely to be included in the Pixel 8 series devices. A Tensor G3 SoC is expected to power them. The Pixel 8 Pro will reportedly have a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging capabilities. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 might include a 4,485mAh battery with 24W wired charging and 12W wireless charging compatibility.
