The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G first appeared in India in March of this year, featuring 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. As a follow-up to the Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung is apparently working on the Galaxy A55. Key features of the rumored smartphone have leaked online ahead of any formal introduction. The Galaxy A55 is rumored to be powered by an Exynos 1480 SoC from the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. It is expected to include a 50-megapixel main back camera. The Galaxy A55 5G has allegedly began internal testing.
According to GalaxyClub, Samsung is testing the Galaxy A55 with the CPU codenamed S5E8845. This codename is likely to be related with the yet-to-be-announced Exynos 1480 processor. S5E8825 is the product number for Samsung's Exynos 1280 SoC, whereas S5E8835 is the codename for the Exynos 1380 SoC. The former powers the Galaxy A53 5G, whereas the Exynos 1380 SoC powers the Galaxy A54 5G. The next Exynos 1480 CPU is apparently known internally as Rose, and it may include an AMD-derived GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 is said to include a 50-megapixel back camera sensor. It will become official in March of next year. However, Samsung has not yet announced anything regarding the Galaxy A55. As a result, it is fair to take these information with a grain of salt.
The Galaxy A54 5G is now available in India, with the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model beginning at Rs. 38,999. It is available in the colors Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.
The rumored Galaxy A55 5G will be an update over the Galaxy A54 5G. The latter has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy A54 5G's optics include a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. It includes a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front. The handset is IP67-certified. It has up to 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB in size. The handset includes a 5,000mAh battery from Samsung.
