Apple has released macOS Sonoma, the most recent version of its Mac operating system, as a free software upgrade. The Cupertino-based business initially showed macOS Sonoma in June at WWDC23. Following the introduction of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 last week, Apple made the macOS Sonoma upgrade available to the public on Tuesday (September 26) as a free software update. These machines are compatible with the most recent operating system: iMac (2019 or later), iMac Pro (2017 or later), MacBook Air (2018 or later), MacBook Pro (2018 or later), Mac Pro (2019 or later), Mac Studio (2022 or later), and Mac Mini (2018 or later).
