In South Korea, Samsung is apparently sending out the Wear OS 4-based One UI 5 Watch software upgrade for the Galaxy Watch 5 series. With the launching of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the firm announced the One UI 5 Watch upgrade, and now all Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users are expected to receive the update. The most recent version is planned to include various new features such as enhanced health sensors, improved SOS capability, sleep monitoring, and customized heart rate zone information.
According to Sammobile, owners of the Galaxy Watch 5 series in South Korea are receiving the newest One UI 5 Watch update. The latest update is said to be available via the phone's Galaxy Wearable app. It is supposed to have new features such as a redesigned Sleep Insights UI, better SoS functionality, and a customized heart rate zone with real-time running analysis.
In addition, the One UI 5 Watch upgrade is said to include new watch faces and Tiles. The Galaxy Buds Tile allows users to toggle 360 Audio on and off. The new version now includes the ability to use the entire album as a wallpaper or backdrop instead of a single image.
Furthermore, the update is believed to provide the option to link the wristwatch with a new phone without having to do a factory reset. Other notable features include the ability to take calls through the Galaxy, manage call volume and mute, and support for voice dictation, among others. Users may additionally examine the watch's battery status, storage information, and memory information with the One UI 5 Watch upgrade.
