Honour is expected to release the Honour X50 smartphone in China soon. The phone will most likely successor the Honour X40, which was released last year. While the business has not published precise specs for the new phone, the display and CPU information, as well as the projected pricing, have leaked online. A Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC is expected to power the phone. The Honour X50's predecessor is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and has a 5,100mAh battery.


The Honour X50 is expected to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage, according to a Weibo post posted by tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese). The phone would also include a 1.5K curved OLED display with a resolution of 2,652 x 1,200 pixels, according to the report. It could also enable high-frequency PWM and a low-blue light mode that has been validated.


The leaker also released the phone's camera specifications. The camera setup on the Honour X50 is anticipated to be led by a 100-megapixel main sensor. The phone's projected pricing range has also been revealed. The Honour X50 is likely to cost around CNY 1,000 (approximately Rs. 11,300).


Honour has posted a teaser graphic of the Honour X50 on Weibo, revealing the handset's 5,800mAh battery.


The phone will most likely be released as a replacement to the Honour X40, which debuted last year. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and comes with a 5,100mAh battery, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch Curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1,080x2,400 pixels. The Honour X40 has a dual back camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It includes an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
