Asus Zenfone 10 featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and IP68 Rating is now available: Specs and pricing

On Thursday, the Asus Zenfone 10 was released in a few chosen global countries. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and comes with a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. It was available with five different colour schemes and storage configurations. This model replaces the Asus Zenfone 9, which was announced in July 2022 and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4,300mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging capabilities. The Zenfone 10's design is similar to that of its predecessor.

Asus Zenfone 10 cost and availability

The Asus Zenfone 10's base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition costs EUR 799 (approximately Rs. 71,400), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs EUR 849 (about Rs. 75,900). The model's largest capacity configuration, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, is priced at EUR 929 (approximately Rs. 83,000).

The phone is available in Aurora Green, Comet White, Eclipse Red, Midnight Black, and Starry Blue. It is already accessible in a limited number of European areas and will be available in more locations by the third quarter of this year.

Specs and features of the Asus Zenfone 10

The Asus Zenfone 10 has a 5.9-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ and has a refresh rate of 144Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a peak brightness level of 1,100 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection is installed on the panel.

The device is powered by an octa-core 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, an Adreno 740 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 internal storage. It comes pre-installed with the Android 13-based Asus ZenUI.

The Asus Zenfone 10's dual rear camera set combines a 50-megapixel main Sony IMX766 sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie camera, which has a 32-megapixel sensor, is located in a left-aligned hole-punch slot at the top of the display.

The device supports twin nano SIM cards and has a 4,300mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging capabilities. It has a 3.5mm audio jack and an IP68 dust and water resistant rating. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the side for added security. It also has 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11be 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC compatibility. The phone's body weighs 172 grammes and measures 146.5mm x 68.1mm x 9.4mm.
