Vivo Y200 featuring Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and 44W Fast Charging is now available in India: Price and Specs

The Vivo Y200, the Chinese smartphone brand's latest 5G mobile, was released in India on Monday, October 23. It has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB of RAM. The Vivo Y200's expanded RAM functionality allows it to use empty storage space as extra memory for increased performance. It comes in two colors and has an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Vivo Y200 comes with a 64-megapixel dual rear camera and a 4,800mAh battery with 44W fast charging capabilities. The device replaces the Vivo Y100, which launched in February. In the Indian market, the Vivo Y200 will compete with the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, Samsung Galaxy M34, and Redmi Note 12 5G.

 

Vivo Y200 pricing and availability in India

The basic 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Vivo Y200 costs Rs. 21,999. The most expensive option, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs Rs 24,999. The newly released handset is available in Jungle Green and Desert Gold. It is presently available for purchase through Vivo's India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and certain retail outlets.


Vivo is currently providing cashback on purchases made using SBI, IndusInd, IDFC First, and Yes Bank credit cards. There are also no-cost EMI alternatives available for 24 months.


In comparison, Vivo introduced the Vivo Y100 in India for Rs. 23,999. The firm has reduced its pricing by Rs. 2,000.

 

Vivo Y200 Specs

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y200 runs Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. It has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+ compatibility, 394 ppi pixel density, and 900 nits of peak brightness. The curving display includes a notch in the center for the selfie camera. The device is powered by a 6nm Snapdragon 4 Gen SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 8GB of additional RAM.


The Vivo Y200 has a dual back camera arrangement for photographs and videos, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.79 lens, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture on the front. Night mode, panoramic, time-lapse video, dual view, portrait, and slow motion are among the photographic modes supported by the camera configuration. It also has 256GB of UFS2.2 storage.


The Vivo Y200 supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, and USB 2.0 connectivity. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, motor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope are among the sensors aboard. For authentication, there is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is also dust and water resistant, with an IP54 rating.

 

A 4,800mAh battery powers the Vivo Y200 and enables 44W rapid charging. It has dimensions of 162.35x74.85x7.69mm and weighs roughly 190 grams.
