While foldable displays are becoming increasingly common, Motorola is developing a more sophisticated concept phone display that wraps around your wrist. On Tuesday (October 24), the Lenovo subsidiary unveiled its flexible pOLED display concept phone at the annual Lenovo Tech World 2023. The revolutionary smartphone form factor boasts a full-HD+ pOLED screen and can be folded backwards and wrapped around a wrist like a bracelet or timepiece. The adaptable display idea has multiple stand modes.

At Lenovo Tech World 2023, Motorola presented its revolutionary adaptable display idea. As previously stated, this new conceptual gadget features a full-HD+ pOLED display that can be twisted and curved to meet the demands of users. This adaptable display design may be altered from a flat Android phone experience to being wrapped for a wrist-worn experience or positioned in various stand configurations. The gadget may stand on its own as a bipod, providing the user with a hands-free experience.

When laid flat, the 6.9-inch screen functions as a regular smartphone with full Android functionality. It can also be configured to stand on its own and has a 4.6-inch display. Motorola also mentions that users may wrap the gadget around their wrist like a smart band or timepiece to simulate the external display on the Motorola Razr Plus's cover screen. However, there is no information on when this new item will be available for purchase.

Motorola teased the rollable Rizr idea earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023). Aside from Motorola, manufacturers like as Vivo, Transsion Holdings, and TCL are preparing to launch another rollable display form factor in 2024. Samsung is now the market leader in the foldable smartphone field.

Motorola also revealed some creative AI technologies that allow customers to personalize their phones. With this concept, users may upload or shoot a photo of their attire to get a variety of AI-generated graphics that suit their personal style. Furthermore, the company announced the creation of MotoAI, a personal assistant for both PCs and smartphones. In addition, Motorola has presented an AI concept model that improves the Doc Scanner capabilities now available on Motorola camera systems, an AI Text Summarisation tool, and a Privacy Content Obfuscation idea that uses AI to secure user information.
