The iQoo 10 Pro, which debuted in July of last year, was the company's first smartphone to allow 200W rapid charging. It came with a 4,700mAh battery. Its successor, the iQoo 11 Pro, has comparable battery specs. This year, the firm added support for 200W fast charging to the iQoo 11S, which features a 4,600mAh battery. However, it has recently been claimed that the business may offer the forthcoming iQoo 12 Pro with a charging speed of just 120W. While it is proposed that the charging speed be slowed, the corporation might instead focus on packing a larger battery.
According to a tweet on the Chinese social site Weibo by tipster DigitalChatStation, iQoo's parent company Vivo has chosen to put a stop on supplying 200W fast charging capabilities to smartphones. Instead, the business is claimed to be working on producing smartphones with 120W or 100W rapid charging speeds, but with up to 6,000mAh batteries.
While the iQoo 10 Pro and iQoo 11 Pro both have 200W fast charging, the next iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12 will purportedly have 120W fast charging, as well as 50W wireless charging capabilities on the Pro edition. The business may, however, increase battery capacity for both forthcoming devices. According to recent reports, the iQOO 12 will have a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro model would have a 5,100mAh battery.
The iQoo 12 series will be available on November 7. Previous rumors speculated on the impending cellphones' features and color possibilities. Both handsets will reportedly be available in black, red, and white.
In terms of battery capacity, the iQoo 12 is expected to include a 4,880mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is reported to power both devices.
