Apple is apparently going to reveal new iPad models this week, with the iPad, iPad Air, and iPad mini all getting updates. The next iPad models may have improved chipsets, with the new iPad Air most likely to use an M2 processor. According to a recent rumor, the Cupertino, California-based tech behemoth appears to be preparing to release a new Apple Pencil instead. Apple is said to be nearing the release of the Apple Pencil 3. Apple presently sells the first and second iterations of the Apple Pencil, which are compatible with its iPad devices.

According to Japanese publication MacOtakara, Apple will most likely release the third-generation Apple Pencil this week. According to reports, the Apple Pencil 3 will include removable magnetic tips. Majin Bu, a tipster on X (previously Twitter), verified the same. "Based on what my source reported the new Apple Pencil 3 will come with interchangeable magnetic tips (for drawing, technical drawing and painting)," the person who provided the tip wrote in their comment.

Apple has not formally announced intentions to release new iPads, Apple Pencils, or other gadgets. Several sources, however, claim that the business will release new iPad models this week. According to Supercharged, the iPad Air model might be upgraded with an M2 processor, while the iPad mini, which is now powered by Apple's A15 Bionic SoC, could get the A16 Bionic SoC.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, on the other hand, stated in his weekly email that while Apple was working on new iPad models, a release this week seemed doubtful. However, if the current story is correct, the Apple Pencil 3 might be on the way shortly.

Apple allegedly submitted a patent earlier this year for an optical sensor on its next-generation Apple Pencil, which might allow the gadget to reproduce the texture and color of an item's surface.

The second-generation Apple Pencil is presently available for Rs. 11,900 from Apple. The Apple Pencil 2 supports wireless connection and charging and magnetically connects to your iPad tablet. It is compatible with all iPad Pro models, as well as the iPad Air and iPad mini. The first-generation Apple Pencil, on the other hand, costs Rs. 9,500 and connects and charges via the top-mounted lightning connector.
