Apple Sends Invitation to "Scary Fast" Event; New iMacs and MacBooks on the Way

Apple has sent out invitations to the "Scary Fast" event, which is likely to be the unveiling of the iMacs and MacBooks at the end of this month. According to the invitation acquired by Gadgets360 on Tuesday, Apple will have a special event on October 30 at 5 p.m. PT. Live streaming of the event will also be accessible on Apple's own website, apple.com. According to prior reports, Apple will announce a follow-up model for the 24-inch iMac at this forthcoming presentation.

Apple began sending out new invites for a future event on Tuesday, October 24. While the business has not specified the event's details, it is likely to be a Mac Launch event. The firm has yet to disclose the event's lineup. The event is slated for 5 p.m. PT, which translates to 5:30 a.m. on October 31, an unusual time for an Apple event given India's time zone. Live broadcasting of the event will be accessible on Apple.com and YouTube.

Apple has not yet updated its 2021 24-inch iMac. Apple will announce a new 24-inch iMac update during the forthcoming event, according to a prior claim based on Bloomberg's Mark Gurman weekly. He also mentioned that a bigger Pro version of the iMac will be available in late 2024 or early 2025. However, according to industry expert Ming-Chi Kuo, the next 24-inch iMac will be released this year.

The M1 processor powers the earlier 24-inch iMac. It comes in seven different colors and has a 4.5K retina display with a peak brightness of 500 nits. Meanwhile, according to another recent source quoting Gurman, the next Mac models may launch with Apple's newest M3 CPU.

 

According to Gurman's source, Apple has no plans to release new iPad models this year. The business may release new iPad models in March 2024.
