Apple is preparing to have its next event at the end of this month, at which it is likely to introduce new iMac and MacBook models. The 'Scary Fast' event, which will take place on October 30 at 5 p.m. PT (5.30 a.m. IST on October 31), has already received invitations. An purported MacBook Pro box packing picture has surfaced online ahead of the event. The leak depicts standard Apple packaging, a white box with a MacBook Pro graphic on top.

The unusual Apple leak initially emerged on the Chinese microblogging network Weibo, and was later posted on X on Wednesday by tipster ShrimpApplePro (@VNchocoTaco). While there are no specifics in the leak, it does show a silver-colored unannounced MacBook Pro on the box with a fresh wallpaper on its display.

Apple, as usual, has not revealed any specifics regarding its rumored Mac range, so take this leak with a grain of salt. At its 'Scary Fast' presentation, the Cupertino, California-based corporation is generally expected to unveil a new 24-inch iMac. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claimed a day before Apple's event announcement that the firm was preparing to release the long-awaited 24-inch iMac update around the end of October. In 2021, Apple's 'Spring Loaded' event saw the release of the last iMac.

The business may also unveil its much-anticipated M3 processor on its portfolio of Mac models, which are scheduled to be presented at the event. According to Bloomberg, Apple may unveil 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro versions, perhaps powered by M3 Pro and M3 Max CPUs, at the event.

Earlier this week, Bloomberg's Gurman claimed that Apple retail locations were running low on the existing iMac and 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, implying that new versions might be available shortly. He also stated that a bigger Pro version of the iMac will be available in late 2024 or early 2025. TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also predicted a higher-end iMac with a 32-inch mini-LED display in 2025.

Apple is also working on updating its iPad lineup, but don't anticipate it to appear during the 'Scary Fast' event, which is slated to focus on Macs. The business is purportedly working on iPad Air, entry-level iPad, and iPad mini upgrades, which might arrive in March 2024. Livestreaming of the forthcoming event will be available on Apple's YouTube channel, website, and Apple TV+.
