Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro featuring a 1.43-inch AMOLED display has been unveiled, while Smart Band 8 has been released globally

At an event in Berlin on Tuesday, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and announced the global release of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8. The Smart Band 8 was first available in China in April. The smart wearable is now available in Europe for purchase. It comes with two color band choices. The Watch 2 Pro, on the other hand, will be available in two connection choices - e-SIM and Bluetooth - as well as two color options.

The Bluetooth model of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro costs EUR 269 (about Rs. 23,700), while the e-SIM variant costs EUR 329 (approximately Rs. 28,300). It comes in two colors: black with a black fluororubber strap and silver with a brown leather strap.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is available in two color options: black and white, and costs EUR 39.9 (about Rs. 3,500). Both smart wearables will be available for purchase on Xiaomi's official Europe website.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a peak brightness level of up to 600 nits, and a pixel density of 326ppi. It is equipped with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 wearable platform, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It comes pre-loaded with Google WearOS and has a spinning crown.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has an optical heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, an electronic compass, a barometer, and a bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor in addition to more than 150 sports modes. The smartwatch is also water resistant to 5ATM.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has a 495mAh battery and claims to provide up to 55 hours of battery life on LTE and up to 65 hours on Bluetooth. The watch weighs 54.5 grams and is 47.6mm x 45.9mm x 11.8mm.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels, 326ppi pixel density, and a maximum brightness of 600nits. It works with Android 6.0 or above and comes with more than 150 training modes and a smart health assistant.

The smart wearable monitors SpO2, heart rate, and sleep, as well as tracking menstrual cycles. It is powered by a 190mAh battery, which claims to provide up to 16 days of battery life without the Always-on-Display feature. Xiaomi's newest smart band is also water resistant up to 5 ATM. The band weighs 27 grams and measures 48mm 22.5mm 10.99mm in size.
