This year, Xbox revealed a flurry of new titles for its Game Pass subscription program. The publisher revealed at its Tokyo Game Show section on Thursday that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be accessible to subscribers for free on day one, November 9. Kazama Kiryu, the famed Yakuza who faked his death to protect his family, appears in it and works as a bodyguard nicknamed 'Joryu.' His cover is quickly jeopardized as a mystery man with links to the past appears, causing a mad frenzy over the streets of Japan as we fight our way through throngs.

Then, be ready to go to 1860s Japan with Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which will be available on Xbox Game Pass later this year. Put on the armor and weapons of the renowned lone samurai Sakamoto Ryoma to clear your name of murder and restore honor to your family's lineage. Deflect oncoming shots with your katana, chop down skeptics, and serve red hot pickles to your adversaries in this historical adventure that creator Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio initially thought was difficult to port. For those who are unfamiliar, this Yakuza game was published earlier this year on PC and console, and now Game Pass users may play it for free.

Microsoft's attempts to acquire SEGA may have failed, but the latter continues to make its titles available on Xbox Game Pass. The chibi-styled Persona 5 Tactica will also be available on the service on November 17th, pitting the Phantom Thieves against a weird Medieval Europe-inspired environment whose residents prosper under the Legionnaires' watchful authoritarian control. In addition to its turn-based fighting system that relies on strategy, the game introduces a new Quest system – a collection of unique levels that award prizes for completion. Persona 5 Tactica will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X consoles.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited Persona 3 remake releases on February 2, 2024, putting you in the shoes of a transfer student moonlighting as a hero to explore the 'Dark Hour.'

The original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be available on Xbox Game Pass on September 26th, allowing you to conduct intense investigations and fight to save your clients in exciting courtroom confrontations. This package includes all 14 episodes from the first three games - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Justice For All, and Trials & Tribulations. Another major highlight was Forza Motorsport, which will be released on October 10th, displaying its Japanese Hakone race course, which is surrounded by stunning cherry blossom trees.

We also saw Mineko's Night Market, a cute social simulation game in which you must uncover the mysteries surrounding the fabled Sun Cat Nikko, who has been spotted multiple times at the base of Mount Fugu. Solve puzzles, make unusual objects to help you live, and have your cat compete in races. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X on October 26. Then there's Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which comes out on April 23, 2024, and is a typical JRPG experience in which you guide over 100 playable heroes over the war-torn regions of Allraan.
