Samsung hasn't published any specifics about the Galaxy S23 series successors, but leaks have been plenty. A fresh rumor suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra may forego the 10x zoom lens in favor of a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. When compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, this would be a probable loss in zoom capabilities.

According to Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) on X, Samsung will redesign the telephoto camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to the report, the forthcoming flagship phone would include a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with a 1/2.52-inch sensor size, 0.7m pixels, and 5x optical zoom. The smartphone will also include a 10-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zooming functionality.
