It is likely to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities. The Galaxy A25 5G is expected to be released as a successor to the Galaxy A24, which was announced in April of this year.

On X (previously Twitter), tipster Anthony (@TheGalox) disclosed the main characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G. According to the source, the forthcoming device would run Android 14-based One UI 6 and have a 6.44-inch AMOLED display. It is believed to be powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC with 8GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A25 5G will allegedly include a 50-megapixel primary back camera sensor. The handset is said to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities. According to the source, it will become official in the following months.

The Galaxy A25 5G was just discovered in the Geekbench online database with the model number SM-A256B. According to the description, the next device would include an Exynos 1280 processor, 8GB of RAM, and the Android 14 operating system. On the benchmarking website, it received 973 points for single-core testing and 2,106 points for multi-core testing.

In June, some CAD-based renderings of the Galaxy A25 5G appeared on the internet. On the alleged phone, they indicated a waterdrop-style display and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The renderings also suggested a triple rear camera configuration.

The Galaxy A25 5G is expected to supersede the Galaxy A24, which was released in Vietnam earlier this year. It comes with storage capacities of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.
