Lenovo Legion Go, the company's first Windows gaming handheld device, was unveiled on Friday (September 1) at the IFA (Internationale FunkAusstellung Berlin) 2023 in Berlin. It has an 8.8-inch QHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and is powered by AMD's new Ryzen Z1 CPU line. The portable game system is powered by Windows 11 Home and the Legion Space software. It has Hall Effect joysticks for increased responsiveness and accuracy while gaming. The Lenovo Legion Go will face competition from the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, and the Asus ROG Ally (Review).

The Lenovo Legion Go is priced at EUR 799 (about Rs. 70,000) and will be available in November of this year. It is available in Shadow Black.
In comparison, the Asus ROG Ally costs Rs. 69,990 in India for the RC71L variant with an AMD Z1 Extreme CPU.

Lenovo's Legion Go is powered by Windows 11 Home and the Legion Space software. Each Legion Go portable comes with a three-month free membership to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Users may utilize Legion Space to access all of their gaming platforms and shops, examine all of their locally installed games, and even purchase games from the Legion gaming Store. The portable console has a 16.10 aspect ratio and an 8.8-inch QHD+ (1,600x2,560 pixel) IPS display. Its 10-point touch screen is capable of up to 144Hz refresh rate, 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and 500 nits of peak brightness. It has Hall effect joysticks as well as a touchpad, D-pad, an angled mouse wheel, and 10 mappable shoulder buttons, triggers, and grip buttons.

Lenovo has included a liquid crystal polymer 79-blade fan on the Legion Go for thermal management, which is said to emit less than 25dB of fan noise in Quiet Mode while still operating a full 25W of TGP total graphics power (TGP) in Custom Mode.
The Lenovo Legion Go comes with two USB-Type C ports that enable USB 4.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and Power Delivery 3.0. A microSD card slot, a 3.5mm audio connector, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 are all included in the handheld console. The gadget includes two 2W speakers as well as a dual-array microphone.
The Lenovo Legion Go is powered by a dual-cell 49.2Wh battery with rapid charging capabilities. The in-house quick charging system is said to charge the battery from 0 to 70% in 30 minutes. It is packaged with a 65W charger. The Legion Go also has a power bypass option to prevent the battery from further deterioration and to decrease heat generated when charging. The Lenovo Legion Go base module with associated controllers is 299x131x41mm and weighs 854 grams.
