Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design and Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-Inch Tablet Released: Price and Specs

The Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design debuted on Monday during the company's Fall launch event. The firm introduced the top-of-the-line flagship smartphone just weeks after releasing two models in the Mate 60 series of handsets. At the launch ceremony in China, Huawei also debuted the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2. Satellite connection is available on all three Huawei Mate 60 devices. All of the smartphones and the new tablet are powered by the controversial new Kirin 9000s processor and have OLED panels.

The Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design costs CNY 11,999 (about Rs. 1,36,400) for the base model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and CNY 12,999 (approximately Rs. 1,47,800) for the variation with 1TB of storage. The phone is available for pre-order in Xuan Hei (Black) and Rui Hong (Red) from the Huawei Vmall store.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2, on the other hand, is available in three configurations with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage for CNY 5,199 (about Rs. 59,100), CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs. 65,600), and CNY 6,699 (approximately Rs. 65,600). The tablet is also available in a 16GB 1TB storage capacity for CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 80,500). It is available in Crystal White, Green, and Obsidian Black.

The Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design smartphone has a 6.82-inch full-HD (1,260 x 2,720 pixels) LTPO OLED display with curved edges and a refresh rate that varies between 1Hz and 120Hz and operates on Harmony OS 4. It is powered by the same octa-core Kirin 9000s CPU that powers the other Huawei Mate 60 series smartphones, together with up to 12GB of RAM.

The handset has a triple rear camera setup for photos and videos, which includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with a variable aperture (f/1.4 to f/4.0), a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, as well as support for macro photography. It sports a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.

The Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design comes with up to 1TB of internal storage. The handset's connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C connection. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports conventional charging at 88W, wireless charging at 50W, and reverse wireless charging at 20W. It also enables dimming with 1,440Hz high-frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM).  It features the same Kirin 9000s CPU as the Huawei Mate 60 series, as well as up to 16GB of RAM.

It sports a 13-megapixel back camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.8 aperture, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The tablet has a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a time of flight (ToF) sensor on the front.

The tablet is available in four different configurations, each with up to 1TB of internal storage. It has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connection for communication.
