Honor V Purse Outward Foldable Smartphone having 7.71-Inch Display Announced: Price, Specs

On Tuesday, the Honor V Purse debuted in China. The phone is presently on pre-sale as part of a limited time deal. It is an outward folding smartphone that comes in three color variants. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging. The phone made its debut at the IFA 2023 trade event in Berlin. Honor displayed the prototype and stated that the handset will not be available to the general public.

The Honor V Purse comes in Black, Blue, and Gold color variants and has a connected chain that lets users to carry it like a purse. It is now available in China as part of a limited pre-order deal.

Honor's foldable smartphone has 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB models priced at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 68,400) and CNY 6,599 (about Rs. 75,300), respectively. The business has not yet declared a global launch date for the handset.

Specs and features of the Honor V Purse

The device has a 7.71-inch outside OLED display with a resolution of 2,348 x 2,016 pixels and a 10.5:9 aspect ratio. When folded, the display expands to a 6.45-inch panel with a resolution of 2,348 x 1,088 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.4:9. The refresh rate of the display is 90Hz, the PWM dimming rate is 2,160Hz, and the peak brightness level is 1,600 nits.

It is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. It comes with MagicOS 7.2, which is based on Android 13. 

The Honor V Purse has a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens for optics. The front-facing camera features a 9-megapixel sensor.

It has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 35W wired rapid charging via USB Type-C. The Always-On outside display may also be customized to match the user's attire. The Honor V handbag folds to 156.5mm x 74.7mm x 8.6mm and weighs 214 grams. It measures 156.5mm x 135.6mm x 4.33mm when unfolded.
