Geekbench reveals the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G using Exynos 1280 SoC: Details

The Samsung Galaxy A24 may get a replacement shortly. The South Korean conglomerate may soon release the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G. The phone has been circulating for some time, and it now appears to have been featured on the Geekbench benchmarking website, indicating its processor and RAM specifications. According to the description, the phone would include an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. Meanwhile, CAD renderings of the device have already emerged, indicating a triple back camera arrangement. It will also include a waterdrop notch on the display, according to reports.

The alleged Galaxy A25 5G has the model number SM-A256B, according to Geekbench. MySmartPrice was the first to notice the listing. It implies that the phone may have up to 8GB of RAM. Out of the box, the phone may run Android 14-based One UI 6.0. The listing also indicates that the Samsung device would have six cores clocked at 2.00GHz and two cores clocked at 2.40GHz, which looks to belong to the Exynos 1280 SoC.

On the benchmarking website, the Samsung Galaxy A25 seems to have achieved 973 points in the single-core test and 2,106 points in the multi-core test. Aside than these, the Geekbench listing provides no more information.

Previously, detailed renderings of the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G hinted to a black color version. According to the leaked renderings, the alleged smartphone resembles the Galaxy S23 5G. The forthcoming phone is pictured having three independent circular slots positioned vertically on the top-left corner of the back panel housing a triple rear camera arrangement. On the front, though, a waterdrop notch is visible.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G appears to feature the power button and volume rocker on the right side, with a SIM card slot on the left. The phone has a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. According to the leaked renderings, the device may include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
