Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 are now available in India: prices and offers

The Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 were revealed on September 12 at the Wonderlust event, with the iPhone 15 series, which included a basic model, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The wearable smartwatches have significant improvements over previous generations. They use the same design language as the Apple Watch Series 8, which will be introduced in September 2022. The freshly released smartphones will be available for purchase beginning today, September 22.

Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 prices and discounts in India

The Apple Watch Series 9 is available in Midnight, Pink, (Product) Red, Starlight, and Silver color choices in India, starting at Rs. 41,900. It comes in aluminum and stainless steel body finishes. The latter is available in Gold, Graphite, and Silver finishes.

The more costly stainless steel models come in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm, with prices starting at Rs. 70,900 and going up to Rs. 75,900. Meanwhile, the aluminium finish 45mm display model costs Rs. 44,900.

In comparison, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 costs Rs. 89,900 in India. It is available in Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, and Ocean band configurations.

Apple is providing qualifying HDFC Bank cardholders with a payment-based discount option. The Apple Watch Series 9 is available for Rs. 39,400, while the Watch Ultra 2 is available for Rs. 86,900.

The new Apple S9 SiP (system in package) featuring a second-generation Ultra Wideband (UWB) processor powers the Apple Watch Series 9 in 41mm and 45mm display screen sizes. The watch contains a "Double Tap" function that allows the user to answer or finish a call, pause a timer, snooze a snoozer alarm, control music, access the camera, and more by tapping their thumb and index finger fingers together. It runs watchOS 10 and is Apple's first carbon-neutral device, according to the company.

The Watch Ultra 2's 49mm casing houses a unique S9 SiP chip. With numerous upgraded choices, the watch has a battery life of up to 36 hours on typical usage and up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. It includes a new Modular Ultra watch face. This gadget also supports on-device Siri processing and runs watchOS 10.
