Samsung Galaxy M34 5G Featuring Exynos 1280 SoC and 6,000mAh Battery Released in India: Pricing and Specs

The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G was released in India today (July 7). The Exynos 1280 SoC powers the newest Galaxy M-series smartphone, which comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It is the successor to last year's Galaxy M33 and is powered by the Android 13-based One UI 5. The Galaxy M34 5G features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 50-megapixel triple back camera configuration. The new smartphone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that may last up to two days on a single charge. 

Pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G in India

The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is priced in India at Rs. 16,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variation and Rs. 18,999 for the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. These are promotional rates with bank incentives. The duration of this special launch promotion has not been disclosed by Samsung. The handset is available in Midnight Blue, Prism Silver, and Waterfall Blue.

The new Samsung Galaxy M34 5G smartphone will be available for purchase on the company's website and on Amazon as part of the forthcoming Amazon Prime Day Sale beginning July 15.

Samsung Galaxy M34 5G Specs

The dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy M34 5G runs One UI 5, which is based on Android 13. For the device, Samsung promises up to five years of security patches and four years of OS upgrades. It has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,408 pixel) Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The panel is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. A 5nm Exynos 1280 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM powers the device. 

The optics of the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G are headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). A third sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 120-degree field of view are also included in the camera configuration. A 13-megapixel camera on the front is available for selfies and video chats. The camera kit includes several video and photographic capabilities such as monster shot 2.0, nightography, and a fun mode. 

The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G has an internal storage capacity of up to 128GB. The smartphone's connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and a USB Type-C connection. It boasts Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers. 

The Galaxy M34 5G is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that is touted to last up to two days on a single charge. The battery unit is capable of 25W rapid charging.
