Oppo A78 4G Specs and Design Leaked; Release Date Set for July 7

Oppo released the Oppo A78 5G earlier this year, and the Chinese company is now preparing to release a 4G model of the smartphone. A reputable source disclosed the handset's design and features, providing a sneak peak into the specifics. The rumoured phone is expected to be available in two colours: Misty Black and Aqua Green. The next Oppo A78 4G is said to have a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The tipster also indicated a possible launch date for the forthcoming smartphone.


Paras Guglani (Twitter @passionategeekz) provided a teaser poster of the alleged Oppo A78 4G, exposing critical features about the phone. The poster includes full information about the phone. The Oppo phone is rumoured to have a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a hole-punch design on the top left side. The display also has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is also believed to include RAM extension technology, which will allow users to borrow virtual memory and utilise it as additional RAM. The new Oppo A78 4G is rumoured to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and would enable 67W SuperVOOC charging.


Furthermore, the smartphone will be available in two colour options: Misty Black and Aqua Green. The rear panel of the phone is claimed to be developed by Diamond Matrix. It will also most likely include a dual camera configuration and an LED flash on the back.


Other leaked information includes twin stereo speakers and true HD Sound 3.0. According to the source, the Oppo A78 4G will most likely be released on July 7. All of these rumoured information, however, have yet to be confirmed by Oppo.


Oppo released the Oppo A78 5G with a waterdrop-style notch display earlier this year. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio 700 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. The phone has a dual back camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel main sensor. It features a 5,000mAh battery and 33W SuperVOOC rapid charging.
