The monthly free games for PlayStation Plus in July 2023 have been announced. Beginning July 4, the three titles will be accessible to subscribers of the PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium memberships. Members may explore the 1980s Cold War era's geopolitical intrigue, espionage, and warfare in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the episodic horror game Alan Wake Remastered, and the indie masterpiece Endling - Extinction is Forever, in which you traverse a destroyed world through the eyes of a fox. These titles may be added to your PS4 and PS5 game libraries until July 31, at which point you'll need to keep your PS Plus subscription active to continue playing.

Sony revealed the additions late on Wednesday on the PlayStation Blog, noting that PS Plus users had until July 3 to add June's free games to their collection. The famous basketball simulation NBA 2K23, the dinosaur theme park management sim Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi, the Kurosawa-style side-scrolling Samurai action game, are all part of the June roster.

PS Plus: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, July 2023

Black Ops Cold War, which serves as a bridge between Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops II, places you in the early 1980s and tasks you with tracking down a shadowy person known as Perseus, who seeks to shift power towards the Soviet Union and influence the course of history. Engage in large-scale fights in locations like as Vietnam, East Berlin, and the Soviet KGB headquarters to unravel a deadly conspiracy, aided by returning characters such as Alex Mason and Frank Woods. It is worth noting that the storyline is the strongest suit of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, while the multiplayer suffers from fewer maps and a lack of originality.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle will be playable on both the PS4 and the PS5.

Alan Wake has been remastered

Return to the picturesque hamlet of Bright Falls in the cinematic Alan Wake Remastered, which has been updated with new graphics and cutscenes. You play as the titular author, who, like in the original, travels to a remote village with his wife for a short holiday after suffering from severe writer's block. Soon later, his wife inexplicably departs, launching an investigation that becomes more odd when he uncovers pages from a horror fiction he allegedly penned. The events unfold precisely as stated in those pages, making him question his sanity as he comes face to face with a hostile otherworldly darkness that turns every living creature against him. The terrifying adventure unfolds like an episode of a TV show, and developer Remedy even has a sequel scheduled for October.

Alan Wake Remastered will be available on both the PS4 and the PS5.

Endling - Extinction is Permanent

Endling - Extinction is Forever pits you as the final mother fox against a harsh Earth destroyed by humanity. Learn about the destructive force as it pollutes and corrupts the world, providing obstacles in your way to rearing your three young furballs. You might utilise the cover of night to direct the cubs to safer places while planning your next move during the day. As you hunt down prey to satisfy your hunger, watch them grow and gain new talents and personalities. The graphics have an ambient vibe to them that truly conveys the game's gloomy tone.

Endling - Extinction is Forever will be released on both the PS4 and the PS5.

Earlier this month, PlayStation revealed a new batch of games for its Game Catalogue, which will be available to PS Plus Extra, Deluxe, and Premium tier users. Far Cry 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, Rogue Legacy 2, and many more are among the highlights.

In India, the Essential plan costs Rs. 499 per month, the Extra plan costs Rs. 749 per month, and the top-tier Deluxe plan costs Rs. 849 per month. All three levels include the monthly free games.
