Nothing Phone 2 will be available worldwide including in India on July 11. It will be the successor of the Nothing Phone 1, which was introduced in July 2022. The Phone 1 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor. Meanwhile, the Phone 2 will include a more powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a slightly larger 4,700mAh battery. Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently teased the forthcoming smartphone's home page in a screenshot. The business has now teased the design of the phone's back panel ahead of its unveiling.

Nothing previewed the design of the Nothing Phone 2's back panel in a tweet on Friday. The device, like the previous handset, has a transparent glass cover back with underneath LED light panels. The photos also corroborate the Phone 2's curved sides and frame. The Phone 1 featured flat edges and a flat back panel in contrast.

The digital clock can be seen in the upper left corner of the display in a recent image of the phone's home screen posted by Pei. This suggested that the Phone 2's selfie camera might not be located in the centre. Another tweet from the firm shows an unidentified device with incredibly low bezels and a hole-punch camera slot in the centre of the display. It is claimed that this might be a signal that the forthcoming phone would include a selfie camera in the centre.

Pre-orders for the Nothing Phone 2 in India went live today at 12 p.m. Customers simply need to pay a refundable deposit of Rs. 2,000 to book the phone and the remainder amount to secure the smartphone once it is released. According to previous reports, the phone's 8GB + 256GB edition would be priced at EUR 729 (approximately Rs. 65,600) while the 12GB + 512GB variant will be priced at EUR 849 (about Rs. 76,500).

Nothing confirms that the Phone 2 will have a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) or higher. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core SoC. The model will come with a USB Type-C cable with a clear outer layer and a silver USB port. The handset will also receive three years of Android upgrades and four years of security patches.
