Unboxing Video Reveals Redmi 13C Design, Color Options, and Specs

Redmi is reported to be moving closer to releasing the Redmi 13C, with leaks and rumors offering information about the next phone's planned design and features. Renders of the rumored phone leaked online in September, revealing its color possibilities and notch design. The full phone has now been shown in an unboxing video shared on YouTube, revealing the design and features of the Redmi 13C. According to the video, the Redmi 13C will be available in three color variants: Clover Green, Grey, and Matte Black. The phone is expected to replace the Redmi 12C, which was released in India in March of this year.

The Redmi 13C appears to have landed in Latin American retail locations, according to a video shared by Guatemala-based tech channel Eufracio López 502. The handset, however, has yet to be officially released. The unpacking and impression video shows the phone in depth, showing critical features and design aspects.

As previously stated, the phone is available in three distinct colorways and has a flat-body design. The triple camera arrangement is contained in two circular enclosures on the back of the phone, within a rectangular camera island constructed of plastic. The front camera is located in a waterdrop-style notch at the top center of the display. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the device, while the SIM tray is located on the left. On top is a 3.5mm audio connector, while on the bottom is a USB Type-C port.

The video also teases the main features of the next Redmi smartphone. The phone ships with MIUI 14.0.1, which is based on Android 13. The Redmi 13C comes with a 6.74-inch IPS screen with full-HD+ quality and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, according to the packaging. The phone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 CPU, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. According to the video, the storage may be increased with a microSD card.

According to the video description (in Spanish), the phone's triple back camera arrangement includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The Redmi 13C is believed to include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging capabilities. According to the video, the phone has a single speaker, a proximity sensor, and weighs 198 grams.

Some of the major specifications disclosed in the video correspond to previously leaked Redmi 13C information. According to leaked renders, the phone would be available in three different colors.
