iQoo 12 Series Camera Specs Leaked; 64-Megapixel Telephoto Camera on the Way

The iQoo 12 series, the successor to the iQoo 11 range, is expected to ship later this year. The iQoo 11 and iQoo 11 Pro were first available in China in December 2021. The base model was later made available globally. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs power the phones, which also feature proprietary fast-charging methods. The iQoo 12 handsets' specifications have previously leaked. The iQoo 12 range, like the previous series, will most likely include a basic and a pro model. A new leak shows the camera specifications of the future iQoo 12 variants.

Camera:

• The iQoo 12 versions will have a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and another 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, according to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station.

• According to the source, the phones will use a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto camera with 3x zoom and OIS capability.

Display:

• According to previous rumors, the iQoo 12 phones would use Samsung E7 AMOLED panels with a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

Body:

• They may also have metal bodies.

Processor, GPU, RAM & Storage:

• According to an earlier source, the iQoo 12 versions would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoCs with Adreno 750 GPUs, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage.

OS:

• They are expected to come with the Android 14-based Origin OS.

Battery:

• The 5,000mAh battery in the basic iQoo 12 model is expected to offer 100W wired fast charging.
