Xiaomi Mix Flip Sighted on IMEI Database, Rumors of Triple Rear Cameras

Xiaomi Mix Flip, the company's first clamshell foldable smartphone, is slated to arrive with the Mix Fold 4. The Chinese phone maker recently released the Mix Fold 3, but has yet to formally announce a Flip variant. The Xiaomi Mix Flip has apparently been detected on the IMEI database, indicating that it will be released soon. Previously leaked design renderings of the rumored Xiaomi clamshell folding phone. The phone is projected to be a strong rival to the newly released Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

According to an ITHome report, the Xiaomi Mix Flip was discovered in the IMEI database with the model number 2311BPN23C. The Mix Flip moniker appears to have been verified in the screengrab posted on the Korean tech news website, which was also tipped before.

In comparison to other modern clamshell devices, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is reported to be particularly thin and light. Notably, the Mix Fold 3 is expected to be thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

It is likely to compete with the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and has two 12-megapixel rear camera sensors and a 10-megapixel front camera sensor.
