The Honor 90 5G will be available in India on September 14. The phone went on sale in China in May. HTech India, the business selling the phone in India, has finally verified the essential specs of the Indian edition. It, too, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and will include a 5,000mAh battery with 66W rapid charging capabilities. The phone's product page on the official Indian website is now online, and it includes further critical facts.
According to a listing on Honor India, the phone would be available in Diamond Silver, Emerald Green, Midnight Black, and Peacock Blue color variants. Meanwhile, an Amazon webpage for the Honor 90's Indian model states that it would be available in India with up to 19GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It is also available in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configurations. According to the ad, the handset would allow a 7GB vRAM extension.
The Honor 90 5G India edition, which is confirmed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, would ship with Android 13-based Magic OS 7.1 out of the box. The phone will include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2664 x 1200 pixels), a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness level of 1,600 nits.
The Honor 90 5G will include a triple back camera unit with a 200-megapixel main sensor with Honor Image Engine support, a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. The front camera has a 50-megapixel sensor and is located in the center-aligned hole-punch slot at the top of the display.
Finally, the Honor 90 5G will be available in India with a 5,000mAh battery and 66W wired fast charging capabilities through a USB Type-C connector. Honor says that the phone can play 20 hours of local 720p video. It will also be compatible with 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS.
Previously, the Honor 90 5G was expected to cost roughly Rs. 35,000 in India.
