The Design of the Pixel 8 Series Has Been Revealed; New Pixel Watch and Buds Launch Confirmed

Google plans to debut the Pixel 8 series, which includes the normal Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, on October 4. The California-based tech company has shown the design of the smartphones ahead of their formal unveiling. Google has also hinted at the release of other gadgets on the same day. This includes a new wristwatch and headphones, perhaps the Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Buds Pro. The business has also revealed the pre-order date for its forthcoming Pixel 8 line, which includes a timepiece and earbuds. 

Google has revealed the items that will be available on October 4th, weeks before the event. A teaser video shared on X by Made by Google (@madebygoogle) showed that, in addition to the Pixel 8 series, the Pixel Watch 2 and the new Pixel Buds Pro will be available on October 4. Both the wristwatch and the earbuds will be available in at least one color version, as demonstrated in the video.

Made by Google revealed the official look of the forthcoming Pixel 8 series in another teaser film. While the basic Pixel 8 has a twin camera arrangement on the back, the Pixel 8 Pro has a triple camera setup. According to the video, the Pixel 8 Pro will be available in at least one color variant: Porcelain White. The Pixel 8 will, on the other hand, be available in Pink, among other colors.

In the same video, the firm also revealed that pre-orders for both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones will begin on October 4. On October 4, the launch ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. ET (7.30 p.m. IST).

The firm has yet to publish the official release date for the Pixel 8 series smartphones and other products. They are, however, scheduled to make their debut in the first part of October 2023.
