In April, Tecno announced the Phantom V Fold in India as the company's first foldable smartphone. Transsion Holdings subsidiary Tecno Phantom V Flip is purportedly poised to launch a new clamshell folding cellphone. Accessories for the Tecno Phantom V Flip have appeared on a Chinese store website ahead of any official announcement from Tecno, implying an impending launch. According to the supposed phone cases, the Tecno Phantom V Fold would include a circular cover display and two back cameras.
Alibaba.com, a Chinese e-commerce website, has allegedly featured protective covers for the Tecno Phantom V Flip. The cover covers are available in two color variants and cost USD 10.94 (about Rs. 800). The photographs suggest that Tecno is keeping the design of the new foldable unique in order to set it apart from the throng.
The cases suggest that the Tecno Phantom V Flip has a circular-shaped outside display on the rear for rapid access to alerts, time, and date. Two cameras and an LED flash are seen placed around the handset's secondary screen. The power button and volume rockers are visible on the right spine. It also has a hole-punch design.
Tecno Phantom V Flip specs have already leaked. The new clamshell folding phone will be available in October. The handset's model number, AD11, was just discovered on the Google Play Console website. The listing stated that the future smartphone will have 8GB of RAM and an Android 13 operating system. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and an ARM Mali G77 GPU. On the flip phone, the ad stated a full-HD+ display with 1,0802,640 pixel resolution and 480ppi pixel density.
The Tecno Phantom V Flip is expected to have a dual camera setup at the back, with a 64-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. It might have a 32-megapixel front camera and a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities.
