Redmi 13C Renders Have Leaked Online; Waterdrop-Style Notch, 50-Megapixel Triple Rear Cameras Are Expected

The Redmi 13C may be nearing release, since renderings of the device have leaked online, providing a look into the likely design. The leaked renderings show the smartphone in three different colors, with a waterdrop-style notch on the display. The screen also looks to have substantial bezels. The Redmi 13C appears to have a triple back camera array in the leaked photographs. The Redmi 13C might replace the Redmi 12C, which went official in India in March of this year. 

MySmartPrice has allegedly revealed renderings of the Redmi 13C. The handset's design is substantially identical to that of its predecessor, the Redmi 12C. It is available in blue, black, and green, with somewhat thick bezels on the sides. The handset looks to have a waterdrop-style notch in the center to house the selfie camera.

The Redmi 13C has a triple rear camera configuration with an LED flash on the back. The camera sensors appear to be positioned in a rectangle in the upper left corner. According to the writing next to the camera island, the phone will have a 50-megapixel main sensor. The volume rockers and power button are visible on the right edge.

The Redmi 13C will be the Redmi 12C's successor. It might be a low-cost option. The Redmi 12C made its debut in India in March, with a price tag of Rs. 8,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The edition with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 10,999.

The Redmi 12C runs MIUI 13 on Android 12 and has a 6.71-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixel) LCD display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. At the rear, it boasts a dual camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. It sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone and enables 10W wired charging.
