Realme Teases a Periscope Camera on an Upcoming Smartphone

Realme is preparing to debut a new smartphone featuring a periscope camera on the worldwide market in the near future. The business has unveiled X (formerly known as Twitter. It has also hinted the handset's likely rear design, implying a triple rear camera array placed in a big circular island. However, it has not released any specifics on the impending product or any other information. However, rumors indicate that the smartphone in issue is the Realme GT 5 Pro. It will reportedly join the Realme GT 5.



On X (previously known as Twitter), Realme recently posted a teaser graphic for a future smartphone with a periscope zoom camera. "Not only max can zoom," the firm said, implying that the device might include a camera with better optical zoom capabilities. While the device's name has yet to be revealed, the teaser picture reveals a triple rear camera array contained in two distinct camera rings and a rectangular unit - all of which sit inside a big circular camera island.


The teased smartphone is thought to be the Realme GT 5 Pro, which will most likely be released shortly. A prior source said that the device will include an unidentified Sony IMX9 1/1.4x main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.


The Realme GT 5 Pro has been circulating for a time, with several critical characteristics revealed. According to current rumors, it will have a curved display with a resolution of 2K. The smartphone is said to be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It may have 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.


The phone will join the Realme GT 5, which debuted in China a few months ago. The device has up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It is available in two charging configurations: one with a 4,600mAh battery with 240W wired fast charging compatibility, and one with a 5,240mAh battery and 150W fast charging support. It has a 6.74-inch (1,240x2,772 pixel) full-HD+ display.
