The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series debuted last week at the company's Galaxy Unpacked event in July. The South Korean tech behemoth is anticipated to introduce the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ before the end of the year as more affordable alternatives to the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The European price of the Fan Edition (FE) tablets has leaked online ahead of their formal release. The Exynos 1380 chipset will power the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
According to SamInsider, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will cost EUR 549 (about Rs. 49,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ might cost EUR 749 (about Rs. 66,000). The standard model will allegedly have an 11-inch display, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ would have a 12.4-inch display.
In comparison, the Galaxy Tab S9 starts at $799 (about Rs. 65,000), while the Galaxy Tab S9+ starts at $999 (approximately Rs. 82,000). The most expensive model, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, starts at $1,999 (about Rs. 1,63,000).
According to a previous report, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will cost Rs. 65,000 in India for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option with 5G connectivity. The Wi-Fi variant might cost Rs. 63,000. If this price is accurate, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets will cost more than the OnePlus Pad (Rs. 37,999) and Xiaomi Pad 6 (Rs. 26,999).
The Fan Edition tablets are scheduled to be released as a less expensive alternative to the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The Exynos 1380 chipset is claimed to power both the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is said to have a single back camera, while the Plus variant is expected to have two rear cameras. The tablets will also have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
