Price and Specs for the iQoo Z8, iQoo Z8x featuring 120Hz Display and Dual Rear Cameras

On Thursday, the iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x were released in China. The new Z-series smartphones are powered on Android 13 and replace the iQoo Z7 and iQoo Z7x, respectively. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC powers the iQoo Z8, whereas the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset powers the iQoo Z8x. The phones include two back camera modules and quick charging. They have comparable display specs.

Pricing and availability of the iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x

The iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x are offered in three storage options: Moon Porcelain White, Hoshino Ao (Blue), and Yaoye Black (translated from Chinese). The iQoo Z8 8GB + 256GB model costs CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 19,300), while the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants cost CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 20,500) and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800), respectively.

The iQoo Z8x 8GB + 128GB edition costs CNY 1,299 (about Rs. 14,800), while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants cost CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,100), respectively. The phones are already available for pre-order in China and will be on sale on September 7.

Specs and features of the iQoo Z8, iQoo Z8x

The iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x have a 6.64-inch IPS full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 19:9. They come pre-installed with Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC powers the iQoo Z8, whereas the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset powers the iQoo Z8x.

The iQoo Z8's dual rear camera set consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. In contrast, the iQoo Z8x has a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The iQoo Z8 sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera, whereas the iQoo Z8x has an 8-megapixel sensor.

The iQoo Z8 has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired Ultra-Flash Charging, while the iQoo Z8x has a bigger 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W wired flash charging. The phones have side-mounted fingerprint sensors and a face unlock function for further security. They also have 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector. A 3.5mm audio port is also included with the handsets.

The iQoo Z8 weighs 200 grams and has dimensions of 164.58mm x 75.80mm x 8.79mm, while the iQoo Z8x weighs 199.6 grams and has dimensions of 164.63mm x 75.80mm x 9.10mm.
