In March of this year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G in India. The devices have 120Hz AMOLED screens with Android 13-based One UI 5.1. The phones have octa-core CPUs and 8GB of RAM. They also include a triple rear camera configuration and 5,000mAh batteries. Now, Samsung has announced a few promotions that will allow buyers to acquire the phones for lower effective pricing.

Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G in India

The 8GB + 256GB edition of the Galaxy A54 cost Rs. 40,999 at launch, while the 8GB + 128GB variant of the Galaxy A34 cost Rs. 30,999. Customers may purchase the phones starting at an effective price of Rs. 36,999 and Rs. 26,999, respectively, with the newly offered discounts. The firm is providing a Rs. 2,000 immediate payback and an extra Rs. 2,000 bank cashback to ICICI Bank and SBI credit card users. Customers can also choose a 12-month no-cost EMI with no down payment.

The twin nano SIM-compatible smartphones have full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixel) AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a vision booster function for improved visibility in direct sunlight. The Galaxy A54 features a 6.4-inch display, but the Galaxy A34 has a bigger 6.6-inch display. They are powered by undisclosed octa-core SoCs with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage that is extensible via microSD card up to 1TB. The handsets come pre-installed with the Android 13-based One UI 5.1. 

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A54's triple rear camera arrangement features a 50-megapixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. The phone's front-facing camera has a 32-megapixel sensor.

The Galaxy A34, on the other hand, has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. A 13-megapixel sensor powers the selfie camera.

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G have 5,000mAh batteries and an IP67 dust and water resistant rating. The phones also have 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector. The Galaxy A54 weighs 202 grams and measures 158.2mm x 76.7mm x 8.2mm, whereas the Galaxy A34 weighs 199 grams and measures 161.3mm x 78.1mm x 8.2mm.
