iQoo 12 Series Specs Leaked Ahead of Rumored Launch: Details

The iQoo 12 series of phones will be available later this year. The lineup will most likely succeed the iQoo 11 and iQoo 11 Pro. The phones will be available in China in December 2022, featuring octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs and unique fast charging solution support. Previous reports disclosed some of the iQoo 12 basic model's specifications. Now, a fresh leak offers important characteristics for both alleged iQoo 12 series devices, including display, camera, charging, and CPU information.

In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) reported that the iQoo 12 series will include a Samsung E7 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 144Hz. According to the source, the phones would have metal bodies.

According to the leak, the rumored quad camera unit of the iQoo 12 series will have a 50-megapixel OV50H main sensor and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope lens. The telephoto, ultra-wide-angle, and front camera sensors are yet unknown.

The basic model will most likely include a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging capabilities. According to the leak, the iQoo 12 Pro model may offer 200W wired fast charging. The phones will also have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C 3.x connector.

Previous rumors stated that the iQoo 12 series would be powered by an unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with an Adreno 750 GPU, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It will most likely launch with the Android 14-based Origin OS.
