iPhone SE 4 Leak indicates Better Camera, A15 Bionic Chip, and Face ID; Could Look Like This iPhone Model

The iPhone SE 4 – the successor to the iPhone SE (2022) — has leaked online. A whistleblower disclosed information on the company's ostensibly low-cost service. Apple's A15 Bionic technology, originally seen in the iPhone 13 series, is expected to power the fourth-generation iPhone SE model. It might also include upgraded cameras, Face ID functionality, and a USB Type C connection, similar to the iPhone 15 series that was announced earlier this month.

Nithin Prasad, an X (previously known as Twitter) user, has stated that the iPhone SE 4 will include an LTPS OLED display manufactured by BOE or Tianma. According to the user, the display will be bigger than the previous generation, with the iPhone SE 4 sporting a 6.1-inch screen as opposed to the smaller 4.7-inch panel on the iPhone SE (2022).

The iPhone SE 4 will be a massive upgrade compared to the previous generation, which includes -

According to Prasad, the device would be powered by the company's A15 Bionic technology. This is the same processor that powers the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Apple TV 4K (2023). This suggests that the iPhone SE 4 may ship with a somewhat older processor than its predecessor, the iPhone SE (2022), which used the same chipset as the iPhone 14 devices.

The iPhone SE 4 is also believed to have enhanced cameras, which indicates that the back camera and selfie camera may have better sensors or lenses. The smartphone will also enable Face ID, Apple's biometric verification mechanism that securely scans a user's face before unlocking the device or beginning payments, according to Prasad.

Prasad further believes that the iPhone SE 4 will have a design similar to Apple's 2018 iPhone XR. He says that the display notch will be similar to that of the iPhone 14. He also mentions that the phone will include a USB Type-C connector.

Last month, a tipter claimed that the iPhone SE 4 will include a USB Type-C connector, Face ID functionality, and the new Action button found on this year's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max devices. However, earlier leaks indicate that the iPhone SE 4 would have a design similar to the iPhone 14, implying that it will have flat sides compared to its predecessor.
