The iPhone 15 family, which includes the vanilla iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, is scheduled to be unveiled on September 12 at Apple's 'Wonderlust' event. The Pro variants in the upcoming iPhone 15 series are expected to be more costly this year than the iPhone 14 Pro models. The higher price is due to the new titanium construction and upgraded camera technology. The standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, on the other hand, are expected to cost the same as the previous generations.

According to DigiTimes analyst Luke Lin, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max would have a "major price hike" over its predecessors. The price increase might compensate for many rumored hardware enhancements, including a new titanium chassis upgrade from stainless steel and a periscope camera system on the iPhone 15 Pro Max with up to 5-6x optical magnification. Furthermore, Luke Lin claims that the cost for the normal iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models would remain the same.

If this price increase occurs, the iPhone 15 Pro Max might become the most expensive iPhone ever produced. The iPhone 14 Pro Max is the most costly iPhone model on the market right now.

A sluggish global economy, continuing inflation, and people moving their expenditures from buying consumer gadgets to outdoor activities are predicted to reduce smartphone sales in the second half of 2023 compared to the same period in previous years. According to the survey, Christmas seasons and promotional activities will drive worldwide smartphone shipments in the fourth quarter of this year.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were released last year with starting prices of $999 (about Rs. 79,555) and $1,099 (approximately Rs. 87,530), respectively. There is no information on how much this price may rise to, but an old story suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro would cost $100 (approximately Rs. 8000) more than the iPhone 14 Pro, implying a starting price of $1,099 (about Rs. 87,530). The iPhone 15 Pro Max, on the other hand, might cost $200 (about Rs. 16,000) more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, with a starting price of $1,299 (approximately Rs. 1,06,800).

The standard iPhone 14 costs $799 (about Rs. 63,700), while the iPhone 14 Plus costs $899 (approximately Rs. 71,600).

Meanwhile, expert Jeff Pu predicts that Apple will raise the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well. An previous Bloomberg story also stated that the iPhone 15 might be more expensive than current versions. Apple is purportedly preparing to raise the price of 2023 iPhone models in order to gain revenue.
