The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is set to be released in August, however it may not be available Internationally

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 release date in China has been announced. Xiaomi President Lu Weibing made the announcement in response to a criticism on one of his Weibo postings. However, a tip claims that the phone would not be released in other countries. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, which was introduced in China in August 2022, is projected to be succeeded by this forthcoming book-style foldable. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. Meanwhile, prior leaks have revealed several critical Mix Fold 3 characteristics.

Xiaomi President Lu Weibing announced on Weibo the company's new facility update, which includes improved manufacturing procedures. In response to a question in the post's comments area, he revealed that the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be released in China in August.

Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), on the other hand, had tweeted prior to the aforementioned article and claimed that the Mix Fold 3 will be launched shortly. However, the source said that the phone would most likely only be offered in China and will not be accessible in any other regions.

The Mix Fold 3 is projected to be smaller and lighter than its predecessor, but more robust.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is also expected to include a waterdrop hinge, which is designed to improve drop resistance. The phone is likely to appear in a white curved glass casing and would have Leica-tuned cameras with two zoom lenses - 3.2 times and a 5x periscope lens for long-range zoom. It may also have an under-display selfie camera sensor.

An previous report also claimed that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be waterproof, however no exact IP certification was given. It is likely to include a 6.5-inch exterior panel and an interior 8.02-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone is claimed to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB of LPDDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will most likely be powered by a 4,800mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
