The iPhone 15 Pro Max, also known as the iPhone 15 Ultra, is slated to appear later this year alongside the other rumoured iPhone 15 series devices. The device is expected to supersede the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Several leaks and rumours about the next series have revealed that the lineup devices would feature larger screens, batteries, and cameras than its predecessors. According to Apple analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be more expensive than its series 14 cousin.
According to a MacRumors story, Apple expert Jeff Pu believes that the next iPhone 15 Pro Max will be more expensive than its predecessor when it is released. Pu previously stated that all iPhone 15 Pro variants will be more expensive, but he has now just mentioned the Pro Max model. The analyst apparently did not explain a cause for this increase, although prior disclosures may have hinted to the rationale.
The device had previously been rumoured to have a bigger battery than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 Pro Max variant is rumoured to have a 4,852mAh battery, which is larger than the 4,323mAh battery seen in its predecessor. The forthcoming flagship Apple device is also said to have a 6.9-inch display. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 6.7inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.
The series 14 model has a triple rear camera unit that includes a 48-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/1.78, as well as support for Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and another 12-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens. According to reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max would have improved, higher-quality cameras.
An previous source stated that the next iPhone 15 Pro Max device will remodel the back camera configuration to fit the phone's rumoured periscope lens. This lens is said to have magnification capabilities of up to 6 times, allowing for zoomed-in images without distortion or image quality degradation.
During its first debut in India, the iPhone 14 Pro Max started at Rs. 1,39,900 for the 128GB storage capacity. The 256GB storage model costs Rs. 1,49,900 in India, while the 512GB storage variant costs Rs. 1,69,900. The most expensive storage option, 1TB, costs Rs. 1,89,900. Deep Purple, Gold, Silver, and Space Black are the four colour possibilities for the model.
