OnePlus Nord Buds 2R featuring 12.4mm Dynamic Drivers and IP55 Rating are now available in India: All Details

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds were released in India on Wednesday. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, which have 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers, are said to provide up to 8 hours of audio playing and an additional 30 hours with the charging case. According to the business, each earbud has two microphones that offer AI-enhanced noise reduction during conversations. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R are sweat and water resistant, with an IP55 rating.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2R pricing and availability in India

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R is priced at Rs. 2,199 in India, and the TWS earbuds will be available for purchase on the company's website and Amazon. It will be available in Deep Grey and Triple Blue.

At Rs. 2,199, these TWS earphones are less expensive than the Rs. 2,999 OnePlus Nord Buds 2 that the firm released in April. The main difference between these two versions is that the Nord Buds 2R does not feature active noise cancellation (ANC).  

Specs and features of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R

The newly released OnePlus Nord Buds 2R have 12.4mm dynamic drivers enclosed in a plastic earphone shell that OnePlus claims was tested on diverse people to optimise fit and compatibility. The earbuds enable Dolby Atmos, which is compatible with select devices beginning with the OnePlus 7 and subsequent variants. It has a Dirac Audio Tuner function, which is compatible with other OnePlus devices.

According to OnePlus, the new Nord Buds 2R earbuds include two microphones that help with noise reduction during voice conversations by filtering out ambient noise and identifying human voices, as well as the company's AI Clear Call technology. When making a phone call, it is also said to minimise noise from windy or loud situations.

Each earbud contains a 36mAh battery with a stated power life of up to eight hours, while the charging case contains a 480mAh cell with an additional 38 hours of battery life. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R case contains a USB Type-C charging connector, and the earphones support Bluetooth 5.3. On the OnePlus 6 and subsequent devices, they can be paired via OnePlus' Fast Pair function.

Users without OnePlus devices can link the earbuds with the HeyMelody app on Android, but the earbuds aren't supported on the iOS version of the app, according to the business.  The earphones are water and perspiration resistant, with an IP55 rating. Each earbud weighs around 4.3g, while the charging case weighs 38.1g, according to the firm.
