Nothing Phone 2, which is set to be released next week, has appeared in leaked design images that highlight new details about the smartphone's design a week before its release in worldwide countries including India. Nothing's forthcoming smartphone may be viewed from several angles and in two colour variations. The renderings depict the Nothing Phone 2's display, back panel, and sides. Earlier this week, the smartphone was sighted in a YouTube video, and the business has also published a photograph of the smartphone in both expected colour variants.
Evan Blass, a tipster, posted comprehensive renderings of the Nothing Phone 2 on Twitter, showing the future smartphone in grey and white colour variants. According to the photos, the smartphone would have a flat screen with consistent bezels and a hole-punch display cutout for a selfie camera. The Nothing Phone 2 also seems to run the company's Nothing OS, complete with customised widgets, icons, and a frosted glass background. The volume controls are on the left side of the phone, while the power button is on the right.
The renderings also show the new Glyph Interface with the LED strips turned on and off. These confirm the design seen in earlier renderings and alleged photographs of the smartphone that have circulated online in recent weeks. Marques Brownlee (MKBHD), a YouTube creator, recently announced the design of the Nothing Phone 2 and demonstrated advancements to the company's unique Glyph notification system on the smartphone's back panel.
According to the details revealed in the YouTube video, in addition to showing the phone's charging state, the Nothing Phone 2 will also let users to check volume levels or the countdown for a timer set on the phone. Third-party applications will be supported by the Glyph interface, which means that apps like Uber and Zomato will be able to indicate the time necessary to pick you up or deliver your meal.
The UK-based business helmed by OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei will debut the next Nothing Phone 2 on July 11, and pre-orders for the phone are already being accepted in India. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and will have a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) display. It will also include a 4,700mAh battery, which is greater than the battery found on the company's first-generation Nothing Phone 1. According to the corporation, it will receive three years of operating system upgrades and four years of security updates.
