Nothing Ear 2 is expected to be released in black with the Nothing Phone 2; Design Leaked

Nothing Ear 2 was introduced earlier this year in India as a sequel to the Nothing Ear 1, which was published in July 2021 for Rs. 5,999. Each earbud in the Ear 2 has up to 40dB of active noise suppression, bespoke drivers, and AI-backed microphones. According to a tip, the earbuds will be released in a new colour version in addition to the existing white variant. The new hue is expected to be introduced alongside the Nothing Phone 2, which is set to be released on July 11.

Leaked design images of a black-colored Nothing Ear 2 have been posted by tipper Roland Quandt (@rquant). According to the photos, the earbuds in this edition have a semi-transparent design. The charging case's internal components are seen in black. The earphones also include a lot of black.

The Nothing Ear 2 earphones were released in India for Rs. 9,999. They are now available in white and can be purchased through Flipkart. If a new colour variant is introduced, it will most likely be sold through the same channel.

Nothing Ear 2 specs and features

The Nothing Ear 2 in-ear earbuds feature up to 40dB of active noise suppression, 11.6mm bespoke drivers, and three AI-backed microphones in each earbud. Both buds include basic touch controls that allow users to easily accomplish many operations. Users may stop or play music, as well as answer or end calls, with a single swipe. The user can go along in their playlist or refuse a call with two consecutive presses. Users may also go back in time by tapping three times in a row. Users may toggle between Active sounds Cancellation and Transparency Mode by pressing and holding either of the buds. The latter enables external sounds to pass through.

The Nothing Ear 2 has an IP54 dust and water resistant rating, while the charging case has an IP55 rating. They are also Bluetooth v5.3 compatible. Each earbud has a 33mAh battery, while the case has a 485mAh battery. The earphones are touted to provide up to eight hours of listening time after only 10 minutes of charging. With the charging case, they have a total battery life of up to 36 hours.
