According to a rumor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have significant modifications over last year's top-of-the-line model in terms of build quality and hardware enhancements, as well as a significant price increase, but the firm will not increase the handset's base storage capacity. The rumored usage of titanium rather than stainless steel for the exterior chassis of the future iPhone 15 Pro Max model will cause the price of Apple's upcoming phone to rise this year.
According to 9to5Mac, citing a research note from TrendForce analysts, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will include 128GB of storage. While the Pro model is expected to be priced at $999 (approximately Rs. 83,100), the market research agency believes the iPhone Pro Max will be priced at $1,199 (about Rs. 99,700), a $100 (nearly Rs. 8,300) premium over the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Last month, it was announced that costs for both Pro versions will rise this year, with storage ranging from 256GB to 2TB. According to TrendForce, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will both have up to 1TB of storage, much like its predecessors. Instead, they will allegedly include 8GB of RAM, up from 6GB on last year's Pro versions.
Apple has already revealed the date of its next launch event: on September 12, the company will unveil the iPhone 15 series of handsets, new Apple Watch models, and a revised version of the AirPods Pro.
This year, the business is expected to equip its next-generation smartphones with USB Type-C connections for the first time, with sources claiming Thunderbolt/USB 4 capability and quicker charging at up to 35W. The iPhone 15 Pro variants will reportedly include a cutting-edge A17 Bionic CPU and a configurable Action button.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are believed to have a titanium chassis, implying that the phone would be more durable and lighter than earlier stainless steel models. Another significant update rumored for the Pro Max variant is a new periscope camera with improved optical zoom capability. We'll learn more about Apple's next smartphones during the company's 'Wonderlust' presentation on September 12.
