Honour X50 Launched featuring Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and 5,800mAh Battery: Pricing and Specs

On Wednesday, the Honour X50 was released in China. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 SoC and has a big battery with 35W wired charging capabilities. The phone also has a Samsung HM6 camera sensor and is powered by Android 13. The device is available in four different colours, according to the manufacturer. Customers can purchase the device in one of four storage combinations. Honour announced that the phone will be available for purchase in China later this month.

Honour X50 pricing and availability

The Honour X50 begins at CNY 1,399 (about Rs. 15,900) for the base 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage model, while the 8GB + 256GB option costs CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,200). The 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants cost CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 20,500) and CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 22,730), respectively.

The phone comes in four different colours: Brown Blue, Burning Orange, Elegant Black, and Sunny after the rain (translated from Chinese). It will be available for purchase on the company's website beginning July 14.

Specs and features of the Honour X50

The dual-SIM (Nano) Honour X50 comes with Android 13-based Magic UI 7.1.1 and a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2,652 x 1,200 pixels) OLED curved display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a peak brightness of roughly 1,200 nits, and an immediate touch sampling rate of 1,000Hz.

It is powered by an octa-core 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with Adreno 710 GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. 

The Honour X50's rear camera unit features a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.75 and a 2-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera sensor is positioned in a hole-punch slot at the top of the display.

The phone has a huge 5,800mAh battery and supports 35W rapid charging. It has a USB Type-C charging and headphone connector, as well as an IP53 dust and water resistant rating. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for further security.

5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS are among the connectivity choices. The Honour X50 weighs 185 grammes and has dimensions of 163.6mm x 75.5mm x 7.98mm, according to the firm.
