Leaked Redmi Pad 2 Specifications: 8,000mAh Battery, 2K LCD Display

The Redmi Pad 2, the successor to last year's Redmi Pad, is apparently in the works and might appear later this year. The firm has yet to reveal any specifics about the rumoured Redmi Pad 2, although its characteristics were recently leaked by a Weibo source. These are the display and camera specs of the alleged tablet. It is also said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. Details about the tablet have already leaked online, indicating that the display and camera would have identical characteristics.


A Weibo tweet by Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) revealed a some details of the rumoured Redmi Pad 2. The tablet might launch with a larger-than-ten-inch LCD display with a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Redmi Pad 2 will also be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC and an 8,000mAh battery, according to the report.


Furthermore, the tipster disclosed the camera specifications of the rumoured Redmi tablet, revealing an 8-megapixel primary back sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor on the Redmi Pad 2. It might ship with Android 13 out of the box, with the company's MIUI 14 overlay on top.


The Redmi Pad 2 specifications were already leaked, and the current report backs them up. The earlier leak also revealed the same camera specs and CPU name. The tablet's display is expected to be 10.95-inch (1,200 x 1,920 pixels).


The Redmi Pad 2 is set to emerge as the successor to the Redmi Pad, which was released in October. The tablet has a 10.61-inch (2,000x1,200 pixel) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM.
